I am a Consultant Anaesthetist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, with a specialist interest in obstetric anaesthesia and anaesthesia for major surgery.

My clinical practice includes general and regional anaesthesia, total intravenous anaesthesia, trauma, major gynaecological oncology surgery, maxillofacial surgery and dental procedures for adults with learning disabilities.

As local lead for obstetric anaesthesia governance and complaint response, I review incidents and adverse outcomes, contribute to patient-safety investigations and multidisciplinary maternity governance, and develop clinical guidelines. My training includes a full year in obstetric anaesthesia and additional maternity incident investigation training with Baby Lifeline in association with Cranfield University.
